The new world prayer was given by Maitreya in July 1988 is really an affirmation with an invocative effect, and will be a powerful tool in the recognition by us that man and God are one, that there is no separation. By affirming that I am the creator of the universe I can come into consciousness (eventually) that I am God, the true reality. I am the creator of the universe. I am the father and mother of the universe. Everything came from me. Everything shall return to me. When people talk about angels they are referring to a very diverse group of beings. Mainly they belong to three groups. 1) Superhuman members of human evolution - Masters of Wisdom 2) Angelic or devic evolution and nature spirits 3) Beings in the spirit world or astral plane Superhuman members of human evolution - Masters of Wisdom When people commonly refer to angels sometimes they are referring to Masters of Wisdom and Lords of Compassion. They belong to the spiritual kingdom or the Kingdom of God or the Kingdom of Souls. They are the angels mentioned in the Christian teachings. They are the angels who respond to our prayers and act as the intermediaries between the human kingdom and God. Usually when we are in trouble and when we pray they may intervene to save us within the laws of karma or the laws of cause and effect. They do not have wings but may appear with wings to fit the general impression human beings have about angels. They do not fly but can appear and disappear at will. They can be anywhere in the world in a in a moment simply by the power of their thought. The commonest angel we meet as Christians is Master Jesus who was Jesus in Palestine and the head of the Christian Church. Increasingly the Lord Maitreya who holds the position of World Teacher or Christ and Head and Leader of our spiritual hierarchy or the Kingdom of God who is at the moment living in London, England in preparation for his second coming also responds to our prayers. He is not yet living openly and people cannot go and see him in London. But he may appear to you in disguise in response to your prayers or when you are in trouble. Also all the other members of the spiritual hierarchy, the Masters of Wisdom, some of who were disciples of Jesus in Palestine are also likely to help us in times of trouble. There are new members who have joined since then. There are also other avatars including Sri Satya Sai Baba who is our Cosmic Christ and was living near Bangalore, India and passed away in 2011. He was living openly and people were able to see Sai Baba by visiting his ashram in Puttaparthi in India. Avatars are usually outside our earth evolution and usually come from other planets at the invitation of our Planetary Logos (God). Angelic or devic evolution They are beings on a line of evolution outside and parallel to human evolution. Most are subhuman and others are equivalent to human or superhuman. They are also referred to as daughters of feeling and evolve through the experience of feeling or sensory nature whereas humans evolve through development of the mind and the experience of pain. Humans are therefore referred to as sons of mind. It is reported by Benjamin Creme that angels work in a direct healing and protective relationship to humanity. It is thought that humanity and other living beings receive much aid and sustenance from devic or angelic evolution without the knowledge of humanity. This help is likely to increase in the future. They also look after animal and plant life. Fairies are subhuman are members of angelic evolution. Angels are normally not visible to the naked eye and are made of etheric or subtle physical matter or what scientists call dark matter. Angels and nature spirits are all living beings outside the human and animal evolution. Every inanimate object or living thing whether it is occurring naturally or manmade has a spirit associated with it. Things such as your car, your house and other manmade objects and natural things such as plants, trees, streams, air, water and stones have their own nature spirit. It may be possible to communicate with them and there by improve the performance of your car or other manmade machine. Some people talk about guardian angels. Some Theosophical teachings says that there is no such thing as guardian angel and it is same as the solar angel or angel of presence or the human soul which also guards the human being. In the book "Treatise on Cosmic Fire" by Alice Bailey, Master DK says that white devas (angels) of air and water control electrical phenomena, atmosphere, water, seas, rivers, and streams. From among them at a certain stage of their evolution are gathered the guardian angels of the race when in physical incarnation. Each unit of the human family has his guardian deva. So according to Alice Bailey guardian angel and solar angel are not the same. Though human and angelic evolution are two separate and parallel evolutions it is possible for devas or angels of human level of evolution to join the human evolution to continue with their evolution. In the same way humans can join the angelic evolution for their higher evolution as certain positions and training are only available to angels. Sprits or astral beings They are normally dead human beings who are now living in the spirit world or astral plane. Some people are naturally mediumistic and are able to tune in and communicate with the spirit world without even knowing that they are doings it. Some are experienced mediums and may communicate with the spirit world directly or via a spirit guide or a member of the spirit world.
